"We really were so happy to be able to come to Treasure Island because it's a neutral spot. Most of these students had certain areas in neighborhoods that they could not cross over into from the bus rides, and Treasure Island was neutral. I have been running this school for 24 years and we have never had any violence at our school because we are a safe community school that emphasizes our students' needs."
